I've kept my silence for 3 weeks now. When someone asked me "Did you go to the concert?" or "How was the concert?" or How does it feel seeing David in person?" I don't respond in words. I just shrug. The reason I don't know. Probably because I don't want to remember the craaaazy things I did. Or maybe because I don't want to remember the roller-coaster ride of emotion I felt. Maybe because the experience is so WORTH the wait that even using all the words in the dictionary still makes it not enough.

So instead of making my own post, I want you to read the links below. These pretty much sums up how my 'ArchuWeek" went.

Day 1 - Waiting at the Airport.

Really. Words are not enough.

I hate the writers. I hate the way he died. Actually, no one knows how he died. And I can't believe I'm still crying about this. I was at work when I heard about this news and I was flabbergasted, I started weeping while everyone was doing Facebook and training. I will miss him.

This site posted an interview of Kal, the actor playing Kutner, and he said:

I understand it was your decision to leave House. True?
KAL PENN: Yes. I was incredibly honored a couple of months ago to get the opportunity to go work in the White House. I got to know the President and some of the staff during the campaign and had expressed interest in working there, so I'm going to be the associate director in the White House office of public liaison. They do outreach with the American public and with different organizations. They're basically the front door of the White House. They take out all of the red tape that falls between the general public and the White House. It's similar to what I was doing on the campaign.

What do you do on a Friday night?

You go out with your friends. If you’re at home you just watch TV. If there’s nothing good you go to your nearest video store and rent a DVD of your choice. If no good movie is available there’s always the internet. Unfortunately for me I have no work so spending is not an option. No good movies were shown in the cable. The world has conspired on me and my internet modem didn’t start working after Thursday night. So what did I do? I read.

I haven’t read a book since I got addicted to a marvelous person that is David Archuleta. The internet has been part of my daily life but it never on a 5-hours-a-day basis. And after 5 hours you’re still craving for more. Anyway, since I didn’t have Internet I had no choice but to read. I read Something Blue by Emily Giffin.


I’ve read Something Borrowed, the prequel, months ago and I liked it. I liked it because the writing was simple but the story, very complex. In a teleserye kind of way. Last night I read b>Something Blue and to say that I hated it is an understatement. I hated the main character. Darcy Rhone is the shallowest person in the fiction world, yet. Even shallower than Becky Bloomwood of the Confessions of a Shopaholic series. Darcy Rhone, a socialite, whose wedding was called off because she found out her fiancée, Dex, was sleeping with her bestfriend since grade school miss-goody-two-shoes Rachel. Actually, that’s not the reason why they called off the wedding. Darcy found out she’s pregnant with Marcus’ baby, and Marcus is one of the groomsman, and Dex’ freshman-roommate buddy. See? Teleserye. Bleh.

I hated Darcy Rhone. She’s the kind of character that you wished all the bad luck. I hate her because she’s manipulative and self-centered. I hate her because she’s a lying biyatch and thinks highly of herself. I hated her guts. I hated her so much a part of me wanted to stop reading the book and throw it away. But I didn’t.

There’s something about the book that got me glued on. The book is beautifully written. It’s the kind of book that you wanted to put down because you can’t stand the character, but also the kind of book you wouldn’t want to let go because you’re interested with how the author would end the story in the protagonist’s side. It’s has the typical chick lit factors, but only ten times better.

It’s a story of love and lost. Of love and friendship. Of love, in general. Love of a family, a lover, a coworker, a friend. Loving and losing someone like your best friend. And that’s the reason why I hated this book. It’s not done idealistically, not a breeding ground for romance. Not the kind of live that will let you dream of your Prince and hope to be swept by your feet. It’s about Love. As a Verb. Love that will make you more patient, more loyal and stronger. Love that will make you complete.

So. Last Friday night was the super advanced birthday-slash-despedida party for Bern, a high school classmate. So when we got to their home the first thing I saw was Ninay. Ok, she's not a thing, jk, but an ex-classmate as well. But after I saw Ninay, I saw this cabinet hanging in Bern's house. And in that cabinet. Was a collection. Of. Our. High School. Books. For real. I was able to recognize one book used in our Home Economics subject during fourth year. They also have 2 copies of Sining 4, which was used in our Filipino (she has 2 because her brother went to the same school). And I think Zhorai mentioned she even saw a WRITING ($@^*!!) book haha.

I won't say anything more about what happened to the party. I think I made a messed out of meself. I vaguely remember things I said that supposed to be.. unsaid. Heh.

Bern also kept her Autographs. You know, those slumbooks we used to write. With those questions such as: Describe Yourself; or What is Love?; Who is your first love?; What's your ambition?; Motto in Life etc. Well, I don't know why I answered Love is the greatest form of gratitude; and why I wrote Mahilig sa Mentos on the describe yourself question. And why on earth would I write SUNJAY ALMIRA as my first love when in fact HE WAS BERN'S EX. Haha. High School. So much drama. And on the dedication page I even wrote Johnny Abarrientos Forever #14, then below "May Damage sa Utak".

So much for not saying anything.

PS. I don't know why I put SCIENCE FICTION as my Favorite Book when in fact I seldom read Scifi. My gah. I even wrote collection Johny Abarrientos posters as my Hobbies. WTF?! TV Program: ATBP, Bayani, Hiraya Manawari!!

MY NEW ADDICTION





I wasn't a fan of Saturday Night Live. Maybe because HBO/Star Movies has a better show/movie during saturdays. I don't hate Tina Fey, I just haven't seen any of her shows. I like Alec Baldwin, I think there was a movie of him I liked. hehe. I didn't plan of watching this show. But now, I seriously love it.  heh.

MY LJ doesn't have a post for a month so... bump bump. I'm posting nonsense.

I just came from the premiere of Twilight (special thanks to my friend z) and it was actually my first time to watch a premiere (and I was seated in the premiere section, how cool is that?!). Well, that's not exactly true since I saw Ironman 7:30AM on its first day of showing so I don't know if it counts as a premiere show. Anyway, the movie was good and I expected less. Maybe I found it satisfying because I expected less haha. But anyway, they've almost shown all scenes in the book. I didn't notice any important scene that was left out so that's good for me. The acting was a bit.. breezy, the actors keeps on doing this heavy breathing which distracted me a little. And I saw Jimmy Bondoc on the screen and that distracted me too jk.

What fascinated me was the reaction of the audience. You can tell almost all of them were fangirls (except for the woman beside my friend who keep shushing the girls at the back. come on, everyone's entitled to fangirl a bit). And when Stephenie Meyer appeared in one scene, they screamed! And I laughed hehe. That's cute. and INSANE. lol.

All things considered, I think they made a very satisfying movie not just for fans but for moviegoers as well. You don't have to read the book to understand the movie.

I was told there are free samplers during a premiere night. I think there was a free cup of Haagen Daaz ice cream. I didn't get one, dang it!

I saw MICHAEL JOHNS IN PERSON!! AND HE HUGGED ME!! squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeal!

Today was supposed to be Archie day to me. I was to meet my fanmate at Megamall to..... well, I forgot the reason why we're meeting haha. But anyway, we met and ate at Mega. Then another Archie asked if we could meet her at Glorietta. I suddenly realized Michael *oh-so-gorgeous* Johns will be there!! eeeekkk!!. Although I don't know what he'll be doing at Mossimo. So me and fanmate went straight to g4. Andun na kami before 3PM.

We asked some saleslady where and how are we going to have some passes. She said only 50 PEOPLE ARE ALLOWED INSIDE!! Buti na lang she's the person in-charge of those passes and I got mine!! I WAS NUMBER 39!!!! And then she said 'Pasok na po kayo, malapit na raw sila' and I panicked! Hindi pa ko nakakapagsuklay or powder man lang! As soon as I thought of that his security was already there and MJ was coming towards ME! (er, that's because I was standing in front of the queue) haha. So we were asked to move at the back and form a line (in that order lol). I did managed to comb my hair though. hehe

Anyway, when it was my turn I forgot the word 'cool' or 'calm' cause I went total fangirly. So I shook his hand then HE HUGGED ME! MICHAEL *PAPA* JOHNS HUGGED ME!! I kinda squeezed him (a little i think). And he smelled.. IDK. I have colds, and I'm really thankful I didn't sneezed at him. So I asked him, "Hi! Can you sign this for me?". And he said, "Ok". I said "My name's che, c-h-e" and he said, "OK". Then I asked him " So, uhm, when did you arrive?". He said "uhm, sunday morning". SO then I said, "Oh, early today? cool. So uhm, when's your album gonna be out in the market?". His reply was "Sometime February/March next year. But I have a Christmas single out on December 9th."  I said, "Oh, really. I'll be looking forward to it. By the way..." tapos umeksena si manong security!! I was about to ask him some stuff about Archie haha. The security tapped me in my left shoulder and said "MA'M, MARAMI PA PONG NAKAPILA". Gusto kong sabihing SO WHAT!. Pero sabi ko, OK. Then we had our pictures taken, then we said our goodbyes and I shook his hands again!

according to ticketworld, the rumored magsyota will be having their first concert here in the philippines, november 16. that's a sunday. i never heard of a sunday concert before. will i go? er. maybe. the tickets are not yet up (TW said they'll releasing the details soon).
